It’s Cathartic

ca·thar·tic /kəˈTHärdik/ adjective “providing psychological relief through the open expression of strong emotions.”

When I woke up this morning, all I wanted to do was get out to the marsh. But alas, the weather just wasn’t cooperating, and that can be depressing. But the clouds cleared for a brief moment in time. So I got the drone out, went kayak fishing, and landed a nice speckled trout! It made me think… kayak fishing is really my therapy. Fishing can be a therapeutic adventure for the COVID-19 pandemic that we’re all living through. Take a few minutes and watch this video to see what I mean.

I’ll share what fishing lures I use, the types of fish I catch like redfish, speckled trout, and flounder, how I film, and what I encountered in the marsh. You’ll get all of my kayak fishing catches, tips, and tricks that you can use to put more fish in the boat!
